The highly flexible servo drive technology combined with our proven, high-quality stamping technology makes breakthroughs in new forming technologies possible. Servo motor technology extends the already standardised drive options.

Why servo stamping? In a servo press the conventional drive is replaced by a servo motor whose speed and position can be adjusted as required. The ram motion therefore becomes freely programmable. It is possible to set the motor to deliver maximum torque during the forming process. To increase stroke rates, the ram can move more slowly within the forming zone and faster during the remainder of the cycle.

When complex auxiliary automation equipment is used (transfer devices, functional tools, etc.), the servo press can be accelerated and braked several times within one stroke cycle so that the press cycle is adapted to the working cycle of the automation equipment.
